Build A Home For Hasna

Smilez completed this 2026 housing project, providing a new home for Hasna and her family.

Hasna Begum earned her living by working in other people’s homes. The household comprised five family members, and four of them were living with mental illness. At the time of the project, the family was living in extremely deprived conditions and needed a safe and secure home.

The family was struggling to afford food while also living in a dilapidated house.

The completed project provided Hasna and her family with a small one-bedroom house with a kitchen and front porch.

The home was constructed using high-quality bricks for the foundation and lower part of the house, concrete pillars for the framework and premium tin and wood for the walls and roof. The completed home provided the family with a safe home that was built to last for many years.
