Build A Home For Khalada

Smilez completed this 2026 housing project, providing a new home for Khalada and her family.

Khalada Begum earns her living by working in other people’s homes. Her husband was disabled. The household comprised six family members. At the time of the project, the family was living in extremely deprived conditions and needed a safe and secure home.

The family was struggling to afford food while also living in a dilapidated house.

The completed project provided Khalada and her children with a small one-bedroom house with a kitchen and front porch.

The home was constructed using high-quality bricks for the foundation and lower part of the house, concrete pillars for the framework and premium tin and wood for the walls and roof. The completed home provided the family with a safe home that was built to last for many years.
