Build A Home For Ranu

Smilez completed this 2026 housing project, providing a new home for Ranu and her family.

Ranu Begum was living in poverty. She was a widow with no children and earned her living by working in other people’s homes. Her house was badly damaged.

She needed a safe home where she could live with comfort and dignity.

The completed project provided Ranu with a small one-bedroom house with a kitchen and front porch.

The home was constructed using high-quality bricks for the foundation and lower part of the house, concrete pillars for the framework and premium tin and wood for the walls and roof. The completed home provided the family with a safe home that was built to last for many years.

Project cost: £700
